25 Week Update

I had my 25 week OB visit this past Wednesday. I was really concerned about my weight gain, but the Nurse said that I have gained 16 lbs so far which is right on track. It makes me feel good to know that I am doing good with my weight gain up until this point.
I did not have any complaints for my doctor, and he said that everything seems to be going great! I have continued to exercise at a moderate intensity and it always makes me feel wonderful. I've noticed that when I don't exercise for 2 days in a row, I feel awful, lazy and lethargic. When I do exercise, I feel the total opposite- strong, energetic and healthy.
I was having a ton of back pain due to the extra weight of my breasts/belly but I had my pre-natal massage and it did wonders. I may have to see her more frequently once I am past 7 months.
As far as eating, I have not been following a specific plan just trying to remember to take my multivitamin and calcium supplements daily, incorporate more fruits/veggies and eat out less.
Work is busy. I am on call this weekend (Memorial weekend) and next weekend. I am also working every day besides one day prior to my vacation which I take June 7th. I am going to visit hubby's family in Guatemala. It will be a nice change to not have to worry about work, swim at the ocean, and kick back and relax. I will definitely continue to work out while on vacation. I plan on taking a few work out dvd's and my resistance bands as well. Being gone for 10 days is not an excuse to be lazy and ditch the workout.
I'm pretty happy with how things are going so far with my pregnancy. Some days I feel huge. I think it's because the baby is laying in there funny, but other days I feel great. I can't believe there are only 14 weeks left of my pregnancy and I can't wait to meet my little munchkin!!! Last night he was kicking like crazy. I think he might have his nights and days mixed up LOL! :)
