Arby's buy 1 sandwich get one free. I usually clear 20 to 25 a month on my coupons ! Anybody else got other websites that will help me ? I am always looking for a bargain ! I sure hope i do better with my food plan next month than i did this month ! I pretty well stayed in the 1200 to 1300 calorie bracket but not always healthy foods ! I want to eat more veggies and salads ! I have ate quite afew tomatoes ! Got any easy veggie dishes thats lo cal ? Gardens coming on that will help ! Someone told me to by dryed peas and put on my salad they have a crunch to them. I got buying toasta chips 10 has 140 calories and i can do that but i know there there and want them all the time ! emoticon So it will be awhile before i buy them again. I usually buy things i don't like that great ! Any ideas to replace the toasta chips ? HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY !

There are a lot of websites where you can get coupons, but some sites you need to pay for access. Beyond the coupons that come in the sunday paper, most stores have coupons on their website, sometimes just for their store but some are manufacturer coupons that can be used anywhere. Hint: you can use 1store and 1 manufacturer coupon together for a single item, as long as you meet all the requirements of both. Always pay attention to each store's coupon policy (my grocery store just went from taking expired coupons for 60 days to only 30 days). If you can combine 2 coupons and an in-store sale, you can really save a ton.

I just got back from Target and Cub Foods. At Target I saved $11 from coupons, but by shopping sales and clearance I saved at least $75 on top of that (I cleaned the shelf of a medication I have to take every day because it was less than half the normal price). At Cub I saved $21 off of 21 items, and ended up with 34% saved. It takes plenty of planning (especially because in MN you can't do the 'extreme couponing' because of certain state laws) but the savings add up. Also, pay attention to the prices of things you buy often - just because it's on sale for $4 doesn't mean you can't get it elsewhere for $3.50 normally.

I call companies' 800 numbers and ASK for coupons; I e-mail them and ask for coupons - I will do ANYTHING for a break in the prices that make me still skip meals so often because I can't afford food. When I shop, I search for broken packages and near end-of-shelf-life products, and get the managers to mark them down WAY further! I shop in the late hours of the last day of the sale week, take the rest of the sale items still there - and after I check out, I get a raincheck because the sale item is gone. So I can get the sale prices when the sale is over. Like I said WHATEVER it takes to manage to have food. It is a desperate struggle for me every single day since I started trying to eat healthy - I used to LIVE completely on Ramen noodles - two meals a day - and I gained weight. It has been only about the money since my husband's job disappeared 8 years ago and we don't have enough to live on no matter how many hours I work (I was working 16-18 hours a day)
