Gone Missing

Monday, May 28, 2012

I have not logged into spark for awhile because I have been dealing with some family stuff. My beautiful almost two year old baby had a terrible accident that left his jaw fractured and he lost two of his teeth. He had to have surgery at the childrens hospital. He is doing good now and has some follow up doctors appointments. Its been a really stressful and emotional time for me. I have also twisted my leg and the doctor said that I have pulled a muscle and it could take 4 to 6 weeks to completely heal. It was definately a major set back to my excersise routine. But on a positive note I have been lifting my eight pound hand weights so I have not entirely given up. I do not want to use either of these things as excuses to just let myself go and drift back into the same old unhealthy life style. So I am re pledging right now to stick to my goals. I wil overcome this and be strong because I am worth it!!!

Just checking in, to see if you are doing okay, and if the little one is getting better. They absolutely come first, and you are doing the right thing, but know that we are missing you and praying for you both, for your whole family. Stay strong, and come back to us when you can.

Sounds like you are staying strong for yourself and your little one. Keep on doing what you are doing, and I'm sure giving extra hugs to your angel counts for some extra calorie burning. We are all pulling for you.

It is very hard as parents to see our children hurt or go through a difficult time. Praying for a speedy recovery for you both!

Aww. I'm so sorry your baby got hurt! It's terrible when our little ones suffer. They heal so quick and are troopers though. My little girl has had a couple eye surgeries and it amazes me how tough she is! They are so tough and brave! I know it's hard to go through for us, but they are just amazing.

I'm glad you're not letting things keep you down. You can do it!

I'm glad your little one is doing well. Keep up with whatever exercise you can do - it will help you relax, and it sounds as if a little relaxation is in order!

You have went missing for the best reason, you're little angel. He needed you and you did what all good mamas would do and was there. No need to beat yourself up for taking a break about that. You are obviously very strong to keep some type of activity up with that going on and you have pledged to keep going. I am praying for you and your little man to pull through this and for the Lord to give you strength to tend to him while working on you. You can totally do it. emoticon

I'm so sorry to hear about your son and will pray for him. Life can throw you some doozies, but it sounds like you're hanging in there. I hope you have some people in your life who can give you support while you recover and take care of your son. Keep up the good attitude and take care of yourself!
