    Happy Memorial Day!

My dad was a WW 2 Veteran. He was at Pearl Harbor - well, in another part of Hawaii when it happened (Fort Bragg) at age 18 or 19. He was the only man to survive in his platoon.

Congrats on that 1.6 lbs! But yes, no fear of the scale. Just live healthy and the weight will come off naturally. It will! I am most pleased to hear about your changes in your mindset and emotions.

    Congrats on the 1.6 GONE...
And what a blessing to be a raised well, and venture out into the world and do these things. My grandmother had 2 sons that went into the army and served as well. My uncle lost his eye during one of those wars. Stepped on one of those bomb things and he came back to us all right. My mom said she can remember my grandmother falling to the floor on her knees in prayer when she saw them walking up, but my uncle was okay. My mom's other older brother did his 4 years and he's all about education, education, education. He has so much stuff under his belt and I love him for that. My mom went to college when we all were kids, and it was nice to see her going back to school to get a degree in engineering.

I'm so thankful that we are weaved in this great history as african americans. Doing our part as the God fearing people we are. What a wonderful vblog. Thank you for sharing your family history. You are a beautiful woman, I can't count how many times I told you that, but you are and I just love your spirit and energy.

How did your weekend go with your grandbabies. I know it was a fun weekend, and I wish you all the best this week. You can do it. That scale just keeps on dropping, and you are doing a great thing for your body, but most of all your spirit.

Keep on pushing, you are looking great...
