Week 21 in Review May 20-26

This past week did not go exactly as planned. I had set up a schedule to get all the Spring into Shape Bootcamp videos done by Saturday and maintain my current cardio workouts. All was good until I got home on Tuesday evening from work. I couldn't get out of the car. Luckily my hubby was just leaving the house to take our dog for her walk. He helped me into the house and I proceeded to spend the next 36 hours either in bed or on the couch with the heating pad close by. I even missed my walking session on Wednesday. It is the first walk I have missed in months.
Not sure how I managed it, but I popped the SI joint out again. I thought I had that issue under control, guess not. Anyway, I left the bootcamp team on Thursday and rejoined tonight. I am going to start over from the beginning. My last attempt was pitiful. I am committing to myself to get this goal met. The one plus this week for me, was even being basically down for almost two days, I still managed to get in over 70,000 steps for the week. That is truly amazing to me when I think where I was even a year ago. I am moving so much more and on a much more regular basis.
My goals for this week were:
1) at least 60 grams of protein every day 7 out of 7.
2) sleep at least 7 hours per night 7 out of 7.
3) complete all 7 bootcamp videos per week.
1) Protein: 7/7 at or above 60 grams every day last week
2) Sleep: 1/7 of at least 7 hours of sleep per night
3) Bootcamp: incomplete
For the next few weeks I will continue to focus on protein intake. Along with this I have also been monitoring my fiber and calcium. I am not ready to make them goals yet, but have been tracking them along with my food. I love the Nutrition Tracker for this reason! Sleep and Bootcamp completion.
1) 60 grams of protein daily
2) 7 hours of sleep nightly
3) Complete all 7 of the Spring into Shape Bootcamp videos per week
