So busy as graduation approaches!!!

Friday, May 25, 2012

Gah! I can't believe how much I've fallen off the wagon, exercise-wise. Went back to it today and did 1.75 miles on the elliptical. My water aerobics class has ended and doesn't restart until mid-June, so I will have to rely on using just the elliptical.

My daughter came home from college 2 weeks ago. Can't believe she's going to be a senior in the fall! Between her being home and my son's disruptive finals schedule, my exercise routine evaporated. My son is finished with classes and is so excited to graduate from high school next week! It's really amazing, getting to graduate in the nation's capitol. The ceremonies take place in DAR Constitution Hall...a beautiful, historic building. Can't wait!

We went to two graduation parties last weekend, and will attend another this weekend. Sunday is a BBQ with friends for Memorial Day weekend. Hoping to get to the pool on Sunday afternoon with the family. I really wanted to have a graduation party for my son, but he doesn't want one...no matter how many times I've asked him!! :) I was disappointed, but I think he doesn't like being the center of attention.

Daughter is very happy, having found a summer job at an art studio that runs a summer camp. Son is even happier with a small freelance programming job for which he will be getting....wait for it....$40/hour! I think I'll just let them support me...lol :)

Time to go shower and take my son driving...STILL working on accumulating those 60 hours of driving so he can test for his license.

How exciting for your family and where the graduation will be held is really nice.

Congrats to your son and family. Your son should be proud of himself getting a job that pays $40.00 an hour very nice.

60 hours? In VA it is only 40....and we thought that was a lot.
