my rewards

it's taken me forever, but i've finally got a list of rewards for myself. i have a lot of weight to loose and i imagine that this is list will change from time to time, but here's what i got so far:

5 lbs – “done girl” pic
10 lbs – subscription to SHAPE magazine
20 lbs – "every damn day" t-shirt
30 lbs – polar watch
40 lbs – workout clothes!!!
50 lbs – a real purse
60 lbs – cooking class
70 lbs – swimming lessons
80 lbs – rollerblades
90 lbs – SPA DAY (no longer obese!)
100 lbs – shopping spree
110 lbs – purple hair
120 lbs – SPA DAY (no longer overweight!)
130 lbs – rock climbing lessons
140 lbs – bike

i tried to stick to things that would encourage new ways of being active along with some just plain old fun things. i also chose things that i don't need/want immediately so i won't be able to just go ahead and buy them. they are all things i can wait to earn


do you guys use a reward system for yourself? what sorts of things are on your lists?

    I was encouraged by your list. I am trying to come up with rewards for myself and your list has given me a few ideas. I have a bad habit of food rewards, which aren't really productive. :-)
