But I'm really, really trying to stay on track, and since I'm still in the Biggest Loser challenge, I'm supposed to be doing a blog entry per day this week. So there you have it.

I've been feeling very off-track lately. Not really sticking very well within my calorie range, and not feeling very motivated since I'm 1 pound away from being in a healthy weight and pretty happy with my body. I guess I've gotten complacent. Which is just dumb, because my original goal was to lose another 20 lbs. I kind of need to regroup.

The awesome thing is though, I passed 1000 fitness minutes in a month for the first time this month!! I'm kind of really excited about that, because I don't really feel like I'm making that much of an effort to do more exercise. But I haven't been lying about it or anything, so I've clearly been moving. A LOT.

Had a nice trail ride this morning on my husband's horse, who's pretty geriatric, but tried to act like a three year old today. She's on a new feed and not sure if that's what was going on, but good lord was she HOT. Unfortunately for her, her body can't quite keep up with her energy level right now. However, it was fortunate for me because I wasn't really excited about a 16 hand Thoroughbred bolting with me, lol.

And now I'm going to try and get some work done while not ignoring the baby. HA!

    It might help to start redefining your goal to be less about a specific number on the scale and more about non-weight signs of your fitness and health that you want to continue to work toward.

    Have you thought about what you want to work toward once you are happy with your weight? Some people focus on body fat %, for example. Others focus on muscle tone. Some have an activity they're trying to get better at (such as jogging / running). Some still need to work on their nutrition and portion sizes, so they focus on their cooking.

    Your life won't end the day you reach your goal weight (or whatever you adapt it to), so think about what you want your life to be like and the lifestyle necessary to have that. Build your motivation there from the things you want to be and have for the rest of your life.

    It's really cool to see that even though you thought you had nothing to say you ended up saying some great stuff! You didn't think you working out much but you were! Thank God for tracking! That's the best thing. Just keep writing it down and who knows where that will take you. You may surprise yourself. You're doing better than you think!! So don't be too hard on yourself :)

    I agree with everybody, if you feel good where you are at then maybe 20 more pounds is too much. After all, "We are not just a number on the scale"!

    Oh, yeah, that "flap" is difficult to lose. I like RMKMGMGM04's idea about scaling down the goal - at least for now. Happy trails to you.

    Wow, thanks :) I'm thinking I would like to do at least another ten more. I'm happy with my arms and legs, but man that baby flap is really sticking around my middle area! I would be happy to see that go, lol!

    If you are happy with how you feel and look, then maintain. Maybe evaluate where your at, instead of 20 more, try going for 10 more. That way your not at the high side of the healthy range. Whatever you decide I hope you know, you do look emoticon
