First Day at the Gym In A While

YesIterday, I got my new workout clothes from Lane Bryant. Today, I put on my clothes and shimmed on down to the local gym where I have a membership. I actually got on the weight machines instead of taking the easy way out with the bike and treadmills. I only stayed for 30 minutes but I really enjoyed myself. Each machine told you which muscles you were actually working. I found it quite interesting that they gave the scientific words for each muscle. I always wondered how I would use my Anatomy and Physiology in the real world. Here is an instance where it came in handy. (I actually knew what a Lattimus Dorsi was). Anyway, it was a great start but I am so flabby. While it is good that I do Zumba once a week, I know that I need more muscle mass if I am going to really have a decent shot at losing weight. I guess I have to start somewhere......Today was a good day and I look cute.
