Who turned on the bright light?

Suddenly I feel like there's a spotlight on me. I was apparently named SP's Motivator of the Day and people are paying attention to my dusty corner of SP. I HAVE been checking in on some of you out there, following your journey and giving encouragement where I can. I've not been doing enough for myself though.
The truth is I've been thinking that I need to write a post admitting I've put on some weight and it's all because I'm not staying committed enough and focused enough. I'm continuing to eat quality real food, mostly vegan. I'm pleased with that! But, I've been eating too much of it! On top of that, I've been lazy and not exercising enough. It's not enough for me to just eat good foods if the rest isn't kept in balance as well. Let me be your cautionary tale.
The past couple weeks I've been getting back into walking/jogging and keeping my portions and snacking under control. The spotlight reveals me having faltered, but not having given up. Plus, it shows me taking steps to correct where I've gone off course. This is too important to mess up, too important to slack on. I believe we can all do this. It isn't insurmountable. One step at a time and when we fall down, get back up and get started again.
Thank you to each and every one of you. I may have been the Motivator of the Day, but it's all of you who motivate me. We're not alone and we can do it.
