Not such a Great Beginning

Tuesday, May 15, 2012

So, today i was really trying. Actually eating something reasonably healthy for breakfast--check. No french fries, pizza or cookies for lunch--check. OK, I did have a dilly bar afer lunch. Then, the problems began. As in, I got home, and Dratted Hubby and Growing Boy both started in on what's for supper? I can't cook on an empty stomach. But--low fat milk and cottage cheese, not too bad. If I could have stopped there! But, Tuscan Herb Chicken and pasta later...and of course, the chocolate.

I did get my water in. And way fewer calories for lunch. And I am tracking again. But this was no way even close to my calories planned for the day. OK, restart tomorrow. If I could just get them to cook lunch and clean it up before I get home!

You did okay! Less calories is less calories.
And tomorrow will be even better!

It'll be a little bumpy at first when you're getting back on the wagon. Don't give up.

Hi, it seems like you did very well. Maybe you'll feel better if you do plan those things into your day sometimes. If it's best to not plan for them on the same day, planning one on another day gives you something to look forward to. Hang in there. P.S., I'll have to look up what a dilly bar is.
