Day One of 30
Monday, May 14, 2012
I am committing to tracking food and nutrition and blogging daily for the next 30 days. I want to see some results, not the scale go up and down. I've been kind of wishy washy with my efforts..no doubt I feel better and have made some def healthy life style changes, but it's time to focus...Eyes on the prize! My eleven year old caught the ball in the outfield tonight and got the hitter out! I was so proud and happy, it didn't even matter that they lost! My seven year old is the star of the week at school this week. He is in a full time special ed classroom, but he gets to spend sometime with his regular first grade class- so he got to take some of his favorite things in to share with them. He did really well which made me so pleased. And my other son who is 16 did all the dishes and straightened the house for mother's day which was wonderful! So, I really do have a bunch to be happy about and thankful for.
My wonderful girlfriend got me a birdfeeder and shepards hook for the kids to give me for mother's day. I can't decide where to put it. We live on our porch in the summer, but the main street in town goes by the front yard. If I put it in the backyard I don't think I will do as much bird watching. I want to start adding more pictures to my blogs, because I love all of everyone else's blogs that use pictures. The only problem being that I got a new camera, and I can't get the computer to run the setup program. I will have to settle for old pics until I figure it out.
My wonderful boys! Living proof that you don't have to be blood related to be a family! None of them are biologically related to each other, but they are very much brothers! They make me smile, and they deserve a healthy mom!
