Big changes to everything!!

If you've been keeping up with my blogs, you know that I've been stuck at my same weight for forever now. Well, I've finally had enough!!
The other day I saw Yoovie post that she's addicted to nerdfitness.com. This name really caught my attention, considering I'm a nerd and all ;P So I go on this site, and this guy basically was a scrawny little kid growing up and wanted to build muscle the right way and he was able to do it. I also read the success stories and they pretty much sound like me... the person lost a lot of weight and then hit a stand still, so they picked up on lots of strength training and eating super healthy and they didn't lose any more weight but they did lose lots of body fat % and look amazing! After reading about all of this, I decided I'm going to go for it!
My workouts are going to be strength training based. Right now, I'm using Jillian's Making the Cut workout program she has. It lasts for 30 days and then I'll have to figure out something else... But I did start today and it was brutal!! My whole body was shaking by the time I reached the end.
As for my diet, I'll be loosely following the Paleo diet. Nerdfitness.com has a blog post explaining everything about this diet, but it's basically you eat everything natural. If it came from the ground, you can eat it. Fruits, veggies, nuts... but no grains! Because those are technically processed. Like I said, I'll be following it loosely, so I will probably have some grains here and there, but I'm really going to try eating super healthy. I'm going to gradually move into eating like this because I do still have some of my "bad" foods (english muffins, bread, sandwich meat, etc.) around, so I want to use them first before completely jumping into Paleo.
Another big change I'm going to try out is focusing on body fat %, which means I need to buy calipers... I'm going to do that soon. I'll still be weighing myself, but I want to learn that the scale doesn't show all and I shouldn't rely so much on it. So hopefully seeing my body fat go down will help with that. I already measure everywhere once a month, so maybe I'll do that twice a month?? Not sure about that yet. I'd also like to buy a size 8 pair of pants, since that's my goal size. Not sure if I want to do that yet either just because of the fear that I'll never get there.
Alright, I'll try to write more blogs updating on how my new plan is working out for me.
