Walk Across America, Week 3 Report

This week I totaled 38.6 miles, which is much better than I expected to do while giving my back a break. It was definitely helped by my weekend high-steps days - lots of errand running both days, and an almost hour-long walk with hubby on Sunday helped. My back is feeling much better. I just need to start out really slowly and LISTEN to what it's telling me.

On the weight side, I dropped 1.2 this week, which really surprised me (averaging 1495 calories/day). I'll aim for 1450/day again this week, or even a little lower, as I've got a pot luck on Saturday, which will involve a lot of sitting, treats and a 1.5 hour drive each way. I really don't want to lose any more weight - it's SO good to be able to say that:).
