It is so good to be back - Day 1 was a reality check for me in many ways ...
- I didn't realise just how much I had slipped back into bad habits. Today I was in a meeting all day where catering was provided and there was HEAPS of food. There was a big plate of brownies and other sweets, which I just ignored and selected fruit. I know that if I hadn't recommitted to SPARK that I would have had 4 of those brownies!
- After the meeting I felt drained, and I came home and fell on my bed. Normally I would have just blobbed out and felt like rubbish ... instead, I logged into Sparkpeople and read some motivating stories. After about 30 minutes, I got changed and did ZUMBA ... then I washed my bathroom and had dinner (no carbs!).
As a consequence I am now feeling GREAT! I am sooooo pleased to be back ... I aim to drop the weight I put on over the last few weeks (1kg) and get back on track ... I wasn't totally bad when I 'fell off' but the nasty habits were starting to creep in and I am just so grateful to be back :)
I'm off to clean up now before I chill out in comfort (NOT pain) for the night!!!
