So I really started tracking my calories and fitness two weeks ago. And have not missed a day of exercise. I feel like I am really on track and have finally committed myself to something. It's interesting how eating right and exercising become a habit, or rather a "must-do" each day. You feel guilty when you veer off too much. Not to say that you can't have a cheat day, or splurge, or take a rest from exercising. But for me, right now, staying on track every day is helping me to not get into old habits.

The only thing I am struggling with right now, is that my calves and ankles hurt a lot when I walk or run too much. My husband thinks that I have shortened my calves wearing heels at work, and I can see this being a real possibility. So now that I am exercising every day, as well as walking my dog, I feel it. I don't have pain when I wake up in the morning, or even 10 minutes after I work out, so I know it's just cramps.

I just want to stay determined, and persevere through this. I want to allow my body to get used to exercise, while not pushing myself too hard.
