161.8 lbs
This is where I am as of 5/10/12. I'm SO tired of seeing myself in the 160s and its time I finally (and actually) do something about it. I have started, quit, and restarted so many challenge this past year and it aggravates me because if I had just kept going when I started in the first place, which was in January, I would probably be to or at least close to my goal weight of 125. Instead, I do very well for a week or two, then I have one little cheat turn into breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner at the drive-thru. Oh and I haven't stepped foot in a gym in at least two weeks. My clothes from when I was small doesn't fit. My skin is breaking out. My self esteem is low. And the only one to blame is myself.
This is where two amazing things come into play.
I'm quite the avid facebook user, and my friend Merina, who used to compete in beauty pageants and is now working into fitness competions, has been looking as excellent as ever. I noticed that she was using this product line by the name of Advocare so I decided to message her and ask her what's her secret to looking so amazing! She said that she's been using the Advocare line and had just finished the 24 day challenge. In addition to proper nutrition and exercise, these supplements helped her lose 18 lbs.
The first 10 days is a cleanse in where you're taking a fiber drink, a pro-biotic pill and herbal cleanse tablets in addition to a mental focus drink called Spark. It's supposed to give you amazing energy and has crazy low sugar content.
The next 14 days is the max phase where you're taking the MNS vitamins (Metabolic Nutrition System), Meal replacement shakes at least once per day and the Spark energy drink.
It's not made to be a diet persay...more like a jumpstart to your journey to weight loss. I'm excited to do it and she's doing it with me which will help motivate me and keep me accountable. I start the challenge on 5/15 which is a Tuesday. I plan to log in and blog EVERY single day of the challenge which will also keep me accountable.
Here's to a happy and healthy journey to the 150s...then 140s...then 130s...in hopes to FINALLY reach the 120s!
LOVES,
Celine
