What should be Wednesday's post...

Thursday, May 10, 2012

I'm running a day late and several dollars short, obviously. I am so sorry.

Thanks to all of you who have been leaving kind and helpful comments. I deeply appreciate your support. I'll catch up when the benedryl wears off.

Found another allergy. Gads, I decided to add another food,, so I had a bit of peanut butter on toast. Big mistake! The inside of my mouth just peeled off and I'm in a lot of pain, mostly stomach and esophagus. I've taken enough Benedryl to really knock me out for the worst of it. I woke up a bit ago and I'm still pretty groggy. I can't figure out how I can be allergic to peanuts. I had some a couple of months ago without problems...

1- Is made of fail. I slept too much to really get in more walking than it took to fill my water glass or feed the boys. No rebounder today. My bones probably need a bit of rest anyway. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

2 - So much for good intentions. I did not go crazy but I probably should have waited for peanut butter. Back to really limited diet until I get some results, which should be sometime in the next couple of weeks.

3 - As for how I am... sore. My mouth is raw. So is the rest of my digestive track, I believe. It's pretty painful. Even my gums are raw.
I'm a bit depressed, too. I hope this improves.

Going back to bed. I hope I can actually be awake in the daytime tomorrow.

I wonder if it's also possible that your body is simply hyper-sensitive right now, reacting far worse than it might have in the past because your reserves are so low. (Kind of like how we bite our cheek once and then every attempt to chew seems to catch that same spot for more hurting.)

I hope you can get through this soon and build up your health and strength.

As you know, you can develop food allergies at any time or age. I used to drink dairy products and now more don't agree with me and I know lots of people are allergic to peanut products. I'm so sorry to hear about your pain and I pray you will heal quickly. Take really good care of yourself and don't overdo it today.
