What size was that?

Wednesday, May 09, 2012

Feeling great today. I had been sick for a few days and took an extra day yesterday to rest from exercise. Today though after 4 days I finally get to exercise, woot woot. Never thought I would be excited to exercise but I really did miss it!
Yesterday I decided to go shopping, some transition clothes, not much just enough to keep me going. I was so excited, I tried on a XL tank top and it was too big! I purchased two shirts in a size Large. I can't remember the last time I could buy a size large shirt, that just made my day! I also tried on some jean shorts just to see what would fit. I was able to wear size 13 junior, 14 misses fit but were slightly (comfy) loose. YAY! Just a few months back I could only wear a 17 or 18.
Downside, I was also shopping for a bra which I didn't find one (I am so picky with that). I need a new one because along with other things getting smaller the girls have been depleting also (much to my husbands dismay, LOL). Oh well, guess its a trade off for being healthier! I would still choose healthier and fit over the girls (sorry girls).

Vuklon - I have lost 32 pounds so far, so that and working out is helping tone things up. Everyone is different though and loses weight differently. I am a proportionate person, so I lose and gain everywhere. Some people may change pant sizes faster, some slower depending on where you gain and lose weight.

:) Sherry, you're a rockstar!! Scott can deal with it. I'm sure he'd rather have you healthier and around longer anyway. :) emoticon

How exciting to go down sizes. Approximately how many pounds did you have to lose to go from 18 to 14 (2 sizes)? I have lost 8 so far and my size 22 that was tight before is loose. Wanted to reward myself with interview outfit when I am size 20 but wondering if I would be able to do that once I lose 20 pounds total. Just curious...
