Evil Water Weight

I had my TOM last week, which, combined with the wet and dreary weather we're having, has really put a damper on my mood. I gained 5 lbs. of water weight, a combination of normal retention and not drinking as much water over the weekend as I do during the week. I was a bit discouraged but yesterday I drank oodles of water, I think maybe 10 cups throughout the day, and peed, peed, peed! Last night we celebrated Mother's Day early for my step-mom and I went a little over my calories (just a hundred or so, not excessive) and I was worried this morning the scale would go up again. But I'm down 3.1 lbs! I know it's the water weight that I gained last week, but it still feels great. I have 2 more lbs of that to go, but I plan on drinking water water water all day after my cup of morning coffee. Hopefully there will be another pleasant surprise tomorrow morning!
