Tame your Sweet Cravings: Week 1

5/9/12 Journal Entry:
Just starting this challenge. I have been having and givng into major sweet cravings lately, so my goal is to find a way to manage/control them. I plan on journaling what seems to bring on my cravings and how I control them. Wish me luck!!!

5/12/12 Journal Entry"
Not much time for writing in my journal this week, busy at work, meetings, mandatories...have done well with my sugar cravings, keeping it to a minimum. I am hoping for a much less busy week!

5/13/12 Journal Entry:
I am working on weaning the sugar out of my coffee...I have went from 3 tsp to 2 tsp, with my goal to stop sugaring completely. We shall see... Otherwise I have not had too many issues with cravings. My last craving was on Friday when I was so fatigued from working that 16 hour shift. I limited myself to one Fiber One brownie. Yea!! Happy Mother's Day, everyone! God Bless!!

5/14/12 Journal Entry:
Doing pretty well from a sweet standpoint, although did go over my calories a little today...not from snacking, but poor food choices while eating out. I did go hiking with my husband today, and probably burned all of them extra calories! Working the next 3 nights, will see how the sweet cravings go on night shift.

Feel like I have been doing pretty well from a sweets standpoing...moving on to @ Week 2!

    I find as I get older, my craving for sweets gets worse. Good luck and if you have any pointers please post them. emoticon
