Blessing Received

Some form of this poem came to me as I was out running this morning. Without Spark, the opportunity to feel such gratitude would have been missed, so I am sharing with anyone who cares to read it:
Blessing Received
I have seen
a bear in the wild
proof to me
that I am a child
of God
a babe
of Mother Nature
I have seen
river waters fall
to mossy bedrock
of forest floors far below
proof to me
that I am a child
of God
a babe of Mother Nature
I have seen
white desert sands
my young son silly
in meditative pose
high atop a dune
proof to me
that I am mother of
a child
of God
a babe of Mother Nature
I have seen
golden wheat fields
bending before
blessed breezes
sunflowers by the acre
turning to find the face of
their namesake
proof to us all
that we are children
of Man
babes in our own Mother Earth's arms.
I hope each of you will be so fortunate as to experience gratitude today.
Take good care,
Sally
