First run for almost a year!

I finally got my trainers on and walked/ran for 4 miles. It was good, though I'd forgotten that my trainers hurt my toes so got home with a blister. I felt a bit embarrassed now and again, not really sure why but I remember feeling like that when I first started running and then getting over it. I'll treat myself to a new pair of trainers as a reward for doing some exercise.
I'm going away for a few days and am then booked into a fitness session on Sunday - which I am absolutely dreading as I know it will kill me - but I've got to start somewhere and have all day Bank Holiday Monday to recover.
I'm feeling very motivated by all the Spark Pages I read so am determined to keep trying
