Yup, I lost another pound!
I know this wont be the norm, a pound everyday, but, hey, I gotta take it when it comes!
I worked like crazy at the gym yesterday, and its paying off!
We went to the in-laws last night for dinner, which is always kinda crazy, thankfully last night it wasn't to bad. Mom-in-law gave me a "girly drink" haha and there was chicken marsala and mashed potatoes and baked kale. I used all my will power and didnt eat a ton of it.

For lunches I've been eating these frozen meals, they're under 300 cal and usually pretty tasty. I was thinking though of trying to make them myself, like getting some ingredients from Whole Foods or Trader Joes and cooking up a whole bunch for the week. Would it be worth it? Time and money wise?
I must do more research....

Look at the possible sodium content in the frozen meals...oh yes, it's worth it to make your own!! LOL

GREAT job on the pound. Don't forget to include your non scale victories too. I weigh myself daily because I know it's more than the numbers, see? You will be learning so much here and we'll help ya through it.

I know a lot of people who do this and they find it really helps them stay on track. I will likely do this when I return to work. Right now I'm home all the time, but sometimes I do plan some things ahead. Like if I'm making chicken one night, I'll make some extra for later in the week. Anything to keep yourself on track!

Congrats on losing another pound, keep up the great work!! emoticon

YES!! It totally would. I like to cook up a batch of baked chicken breast, roasted veggies, and brown rice and pack it into individual portions for the week. Or I'll make a huge pot of delicious soup and bring that for the week. Buffalo chicken chili was pretty much my fav ever.
