well it's been over a month and a half since I was on. So much stuff going on here at home.Sad to say my sons other grandmother is dying of cancer back west so we have been trying to get this house ready for the market and sell it and try and buy a house out near their grandmother 1900 miles away so imagine the stress and tons to do and my being disabled isn't helping much but I am doing what I can although paying a price. BUT, despite all this madness I have steadily been losing weight !
24 pounds down in just under 15 weeks, thats an average of 1.5 lbs a week which is great for me because I calculate my BMR and calorie intake to lose just 1 lb a week so anything over that is "gravy" hee hee, so to say(although I don't eat the gravy)
Despite all my stress I still choose to eat healthy and never pass up my morning oatmeal and last week when I saw my family DR and had my blood work he called the next day and said my results were amazing and so to keep on with my healthy lifestyle ( I had told him all about figuring out my BMR and keeping my calories limited to what it said for me and that I watched what I ate and refused to go on the Cholesterol meds he had prescribed for me back in Feb. and now due to my diet I lowered my numbers by over 40 pts and don't need any medication
Happy camper here, so full speed ahead. I still have a long ways to go but seeing my scales always go down slowly but surely is way better than watching them creep up pretty fast,lol, So, I am so busy here trying to get things ready so we can move, trying to find a place to live over the phone with a realtor and lender 1900 miles away, etc...yes, crazy busy but so nice dropping 2 sizes and my son is still doing this with me and he has lost 36 pounds in the same amount of time,lol,though he is younger and bigger and a guy so they have it easier,lol,but we both always encourage each other.
