Air conditioner is sick.

Thursday, May 03, 2012

Back to black well almost. More of a deep brown at this point. Our air conditioner went out last night. We have fans running now. I called the repair man this morning. He maybe able to come tomorrow if not it'll be Saturday. The humidity is what gets to me not the heat so much. I'm hoping the guy can fix it. I hope it isn't dead. I would like to get a little more out of it.

I didn't sleep well again. I'm very tired. I don't know what to do to get better sleep but some is needed. I go to bed tired. I sleep deeply for about 2 hours then I'm up again. What to do? Sleep just teases me.

We ran lots of errands today. DD was mad at me because I mad her change her shorts. I wasn't going to let her go out in those short shorts of her's . She wear them here at home but not out in public or down the street. House and yard only. Ok the beach would be ok too. That's it.

Grandma said something to her about the shorts she ended up wearing. I decided to let Grandma say something than me. I'm getting tired of doing all the teaching. I need a vacation. Super glad one is coming up.

Fun fact about Honeymuffin: She LOVES air conditioning. LOL!!! Yep, one of my favorite things. Heat in the winter. Air in the summer. How did they manage to get anything done in the summer before air conditioning? I'm using my not sleeping to get stuff done at night when its cooler. So back to work with me.

We need to figure outow to turn you back to yellow! Your trips coming up will help, I hope :)

I know I'm weird but I LOVE humidity. I think it's a consequence of only ever experiencing real heat and humidity when I'm on vacation so I associate humidity with good things :)

I'm sorry you're not sleeping well again :( I wish I had some tips for you. I had a while there when I was having a lot of trouble sleeping (always exhausted, but never sleeping through the night and falling asleep at 7 or 8 at night kind of thing). Thank goodness it seems to have subsided! I know you talked to your Dr about some other stuff, but did you mention your sleepin problems to them?

I think before A/C siestas were way more popular. They still are in really hot places, unless I'm completely off base.

    Get some rest, chickadee!
