I've been absent from SP for two weeks...but I have not been absent from eating right!

On April 18, our grand-daughter was born in Utah and on April 20, our grandson made an early appearance here in SD! So blessed! But these happy event also made for a few consecutive sleepless nights and busy-bee days since they coincided with an already full calendar spending time with out of state and out of town friends visiting!

Our trip to Utah was already in place and we flew the friendly skies on April 26 and returned April 30...getting lots of snuggles, dance recital, park time, story reading and chasing and laughing with 3 of our grandchildren.

Now back in SD, we are excited about seeing our sweet grandson again this weekend. Number 4 grandchild and our only hometown babe.

Back to basics...I've been dragging and tired since getting home. Woke with a sore throat and no workout.

But I have a new plan in place. I brought some workout clothes to work with me and will be tackling a walk at lunchtime...probably 3+ miles and uphill for half of it. It will be a great challenge and good addition to my weight loss goals.

Also going to start on some Strength Training (ST) on our Bowflex this week.

It's time to weigh in for May. Is it really already May? wow!
