My favorite thing about Japan Is the Fresh beautiful produce and my Vegetable GARDEN

Wednesday, May 02, 2012

Today was a productive day :) yay me. In Japan its great because you walk everywhere in the states you are so dependent on your car or other means of transportation you don't get the chance to notice the beauty of the land around you. It seems here every one had a garden so I decided why couldn't i do one myself ??? so My wonderful husband built me some raised beds :) and i have always been in love with herbs so he built me special boxes for those as well... so this is what i have planted in my garden: thyme, basil, cilantro, rosemary, flat parsley, mint, yellow plum tomatoes, purple tomatoes, red cherry tomatoes, bell peppers (red yellow and green) habanaros(because i love spicy things) Jalapenos, sarano chilis, zucchini (yellow and Green), Sweet corn(for my Nebraskan Husband lol emoticon), and eggplants... soon to be added onions, leeks, cucumbers, and chives. I'm so excited about my garden and I will post pictures as it grows and helps me shrink :)
