Lazy Few Days

Monday, April 30, 2012

There was a death in the family last week and my husband and I attended the wake on Sunday and funeral today. We spent a long time with his family each day including the reception after the service. I find these quite events quite draining and found that I couldn't muster the energy when I got home to exercise. At least today I forced myself to grocery shop and got a light walk out of it but that's all I could motivate myself to do. Well some days are just like that and I can't beat myself up about what's now in the past. Tuesday mornings I've been going to a Zumba class and I'm really looking forward to it! I've also got an appointment in the afternoon and plan to walk home from it which will most likely take me an hour or so. So I'm getting back in the saddle and I'm sure it will energize me.

Sorry for the loss of your family member. Don't feel bad about not feeling like doing anything. Sometimes we just need to take a break and regroup. I do it (too) often! emoticon
You need to take care of yourself, and then continue the journey.
