Sparking My Kids

Monday, April 30, 2012

While I was on my SparkPeople account, my son starting asking my questions about it. So, I was telling him about it and he made the statement that he wished he could do that too. I showed him SparkTeens and he got really excited. When his sister got home, he proceeded to tell her about it. She wants one too!

So, tomorrow after school, we'll make them a SparkTeens accounts. See, really a family affair now.

Getting your kids involved will help keep you working hard. It will also help your kids learn the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and may help them understand the importance of supporting others and being a good friend.

You can take this opportunity to have them help choose and cook healthy meals, get them involved in exercise opportunities like taking walks and playing games outside, and they'll have the opportunity to keep you accountable and progressing forward.
