Ahhhhh . . . made a cup of tea and finally have a moment to sit down and visit on Spark a bit.
Like many other people on the team, I think I've had some of the busiest days ever. Work has been full force. On Thursday, had to drive 2 people to the airport at midnight -- got back by 2am, up at 6:30. A friend is away so I'm trying to help her husband out a bit with their new baby -- very cute! Huge family event on Saturday -- that amazingly served tons of fresh fruit and raw veggies for the luncheon. I had so prepped myself up for facing all sorts of cream and butter dishes-- what a surprise! I was so happy to see the table loaded with all great food choices. Amazing.
90 Days -- 30lbs lost on The Simple Diet!!!
This weekend marked my 90th day on the Simple Diet (TSD). Although I'll now be weighing in on Wednesdays for the BLC19 -- I thought it would be a good moment to see what the scale said for 90 days on TSD -- and although I'm going to wait to note it on my ticker -- I am down again and have lost 30lbs. I am smiling!
It's been so fun to cross through 3 different number categories -- meaning the middle number has changed and is a different group of tens -- e.g., 165, 155, 145. I'm trying to find a way to express that, so if anyone has a great phrase for it I'd love to hear it.
I tried to find my measurements from weeks ago and came across a blog I wrote at Week 4 of this journey -- it's a good reminder to me, as I move into my next 12 weeks on TSD and BLC19, that my decisions today are helping me meet my future tomorrows.

"The title of The Simple Diet's introduction is "Meet Your Future" -- and that's what I am thinking about today. That the decision I made 4 weeks ago, and each day since, has helped me meet my future. Lord willing, same will be true at the 8-week mark. And I can't wait to see what happens. "
BLC19 -- Days 1-4
It's been so busy that I actually had to make an "executive" decision and choose between working out or visiting Spark. I decided that going for my health and BLC team goals were first priority and that eventually I'd have a window again to do both.
Have had a lot of fun with BLC19. I'm very inspired by my team members' goals and encouragment. I feel so fortunate to be on such fantastic teams -- both for BLC19 and for TSD.
The Thirsty Thursday challenge to drink lots of water has carried over into my other days. And, I've now tried 2 new exercise classes -- a Zumba class and a Spinning class. Zumba's a blast, and I just couldn't stop laughing at myself -- but I did keep on moving. Spinning is intense (Zumba is, too -- but in a different way) and does it ever get my heart rate up to maximum. I'm hoping to do that at least 2x/week.
Looking forward to the week ahead!
Smiles for you . . .
