Cruise with the Euchre Ladies One Week Away!

Next Sunday morning I'll be jetting off to Miami to board our cruise ship with my 5 euchre lady friends! The longest I've been away with them is over a weekend so hopefully we're all still friends at the end of the week - lol!

On past cruises I've been able to keep my weight gain to about 5 lbs and hopefully I'll be successful again this time around. I think the activity on the excursions definitely helped and I tried to walk the track as many days as possible.

What I didn't have at the time of my last cruise in March '11 was SP and I have confidence that once I return I'll get right back at it in terms of tracking my food and exercise. It's worked for me over the last 9 mos particularly when I've been away on vacation or at holiday times like Xmas & Easter when I've put on weight. I've always managed to drop the added lbs within the next 7-10 days which is very reassuring to me!

    You can track your food on the cruise in a small notebook or journal, so you have an immediate way to hold yourself accountable tor what you eat, even if you don't have calorie counts. You can also use the journal to keep notes on cool stuff that happens on vacation, which is a fun souvenir to bring home.
