Day 2

Saturday, April 28, 2012

Nothing is going as planned but I figured that would happen. My husband let me sleep in this morning and I'm not much of a breakfast person. I skipped eating had a glass of water and cooked a huge breakfast for lunch for the family around 1:00 , grits, eggs, sausage, bacon and biscuits. I had a BLT. It was soooooo hard not to go to town on that bacon while cooking it. I'm almost scared to eat because I love it so much. I rode bikes with my kids this afternoon for around 30 min or so and skipped dinner tonight too. Life is a little stressful right now for me and I know if I start comfort eating I will fall behind but here I am eating a bag of Doritos at 10:30. I should have at something for dinner but didnt feel like it. Looked at myself in the mirror at my love handles and decided I'm not buying a bikini until they are somewhat gone and I have a tan. I'm a redhead and pale as ever doesn't help much being overweight. Everyone looks better tan right? Who knows maybe its just me. Enough for today I'm headed to bed soon. Goodnight all and good luck with your weight loss.

I also share a weaknes for bacon, that's why i have to limit how much I cook & how often, I do believe I could scarf down a whole pack myself in one sitting! LOL!
The BLT was a good option, it's little changes to your routine that will help you on your way.

As far as the tan, I'm not one to tan ----I have friends who religiously tan & you can tell the difference ----they look about 5-10 years older than me although we are the same age. Also I know people who have developed skin cancer from the son, my husband actually had several basal cell carninomas removed earlier this year, thankfully they were caught before turning into melanoma. I'm proud of my fair skin, wouldn't have it any other way.
