My dog helped me get in shape for my first race!!

Taking my wonderful dog out for exercise helped me train for my first race! As I got stronger in my runs I noticed Sadie and I were more in sync. I also noticed that sometimes she would want to go faster and I tried to keep up with her, building my strength further.

I ran a 5K on St. Patrick's Day!! It felt wonderful. I remembered why I loved running races. Being a part of a pulsing, moving amoeba of runners was awesome fun.
