First Ever self-edited Hoop Video AND video blog!

Thursday, April 26, 2012

So this is my first video blog,
and instead of uploading a video of me sitting in front of a camera and talking my head off at you, i've decided to upload my first edited hoop video of myself as my first video blog!

So this is a video of me hooping and also kind of going through my own learning process for learning tricks, so I hope this helps out a lot of hoopers trying to learn new things.

Repetition is key! the more you do something the more muscle memory you gain!
Do the trick over, and over, and over until you are SO TIRED OF IT, then move on to something else for awhile, then come back to it and do it all again.
Also I find doing a simplified version of the trick, something thats similar but a little easier, slowing it down, or doing it segmented helps A LOT.

Happy hooping :)

I loved watching you hoop dance. Since I am just learning to waist hoop at this point, it is always fun to see more advanced hoopers actually dance with their hoop.

    Thanks.

I LOVE all the tricks you're doing. The wave in and throw the hoop with the music was majestic. Very elegant. (1:10)
(5:00) shoulder rolling then stopping and switching directions...on my buckets list of COOLDOM!! You did a switch direction with your knee ealier in your video...Sheesh...we're rewatching for sure!
    6:13 ~ WAY AWESOME !
    LOVELY work!!!
