hi spark

thank you again for your awesome support!
sorry I have not, but I will after the marathon....
I am coming back...after the rest that is...

I m going to kick start the weight loss again

marathon training hasn't been kind in my weight loss journey
it's down right depressing.

I am tapering, hydrating....and just plain nervous excitement all over right now.

I saw the course, it's almost identical to last year in the HALF and the last half ends with almost the Great Race route...so familiar course ;p

the weather has been icky and iffy....one min 30 another 70! hoping race day is 40-50 hahaha

I know some of you might be thinking...why not weight loss now???

my body...I just can't.... don't want to risk injury!
I need to fuel my body what it needs to run!
rest my body so I can run....

AFTER THE MARATHON!
I NEED TO STOP WITH THE EXTREMES hahahaha

I am looking at after the race.
I am going to run 3-5 miles. maybe 10 if I feel like it

I am going to restart p90x (NOT DAILY)

Something sustainable for life.
I have to remember...and this training has gently reminded me

I went for CAN'T WALK...to RUN.....so don't want to NEVER WALK AGAIN!

I am comfortable with ME
only I am "bigger" than at my "peak" so my clothes don't fit (sweats all day)

but way smaller than when I started!

by no means am I HAPPY.

I need to find where I am happy!

THe first year when I took all those pics...like I said they were sucked in...and it was a huge mental blast to find out....in real life I don't look like that

but I worked through it!

OH... WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN POSTING PICS?

well, my sis added me on google plus on my phone.....and it has SHARED photo album feature

I haven't figured it out....does it SHARE EVERYTHING to the ppl you wanna share?

that is why I haven't taken any pics, until I know for SURE that my bathroom pics are for you and me only hahahaha!!!

I hate technology!

ain't it supposed to get EASIER!

have I mentioned I went back to a paperback address book and record keeping!

    i love your garden pics!! i wish i could grow some veggies but the only "yard" space i have is a tiny porch that doesnt get a whole lot of sun! i had a pretty potted flower last year but i ended up killing it and then the poor thing fell off the porch lol! maybe i can just go to the farmers market instead :P and i think youre right about the marathon- keeping your body from becoming injured is a top priority! give your body the energy it needs to take you through your training and the race, and weight loss can come afterward :)

    LOL. Were you high when you wrote this blog? Hehe! It sounds like you have a lot on your plate with marathon training. You should probably focus on that until the race and THEN worry about getting back to your weight loss. Good luck in the race!

    Way to go on your training! You'll get that weight off after the race. You're right...concentrate on the fuel and the rest!

    Once the marathon is over you'll be able to get back to the weight loss. Many people gain weight during marathon training.
    No more extremes....just take it one day at a time and enjoy yourself along the way.

    emoticon emoticon Just signed up for my first 5k for the year & am looling forwand to doing my second 10k ever this summer as well as my first half mararthon. Thinking about doing a full one and a triathalon someday. emoticon on your training and aspirations as well.
