Alright, so here it is. My eating has been horrible. I just can't seem to get it together. Last week, I saw a picture of myself from when my DD was in kindergarten. She's in 3rd grade now. I looked so amazing. It's when I was training to climb Mt. Whitney. I was working out so hard and eating spot on. I want her back. I just can't find her right now. I'm fat and uncomfortable. You would think that would do it. But no, I just keep going back to the closet, looking for something to eat.

So, my question is this: what is everyone's eating plans look like? I think maybe I need something new. Tired of Weight watchers (just don't have the patience to count points), I've done every diet plan out there (except for Lindora or Jenny Craig). Also, I think I need to go back to training with a personal trainer at least once a week (two would be ideal, but, gotta check with DH first). I need something.

What do you all got for me???

    Just keep at it. Try to find new healthy things to eat. I find that more veggies works for me. Maybe a different type of exercise? emoticon

    Hang in there, you are going to be a okay soon. A personal trainer would be a great way to look at your exercise plan from another view.

    One thing you can do is keep your picture on the fridge to remind you of how you want to look again. I did that with my trail race photo....I kept "her" up on my spark page as a reminder that I may not look like the girl in the picture now, but I am striving to be her again.

    As for food, I match my calories to my exercise. Right now I am scheduled to burn 2,000 calories this week. I make sure to reach that goal or for the upcoming week, I adjust my calories burned lower so my calorie range will reflect my activity. This has been working for me so far. During my half training, I found that I had to keep upping my calories burned goal as my mileage increased. I am no longer running 12 milers so my calories burned has dropped and the change was automatically reflected on my food tracker.

    My plan? I watch carbs. I dont allow myself to go over 150 in a day (yes, this is new). I agree that shaking things up will help and you KNOW i endorse trainers! Dont make me send my guy up there to kick your behind! SEE YA SOON and I'll do my best to get us BOTH in gear!
