I'm so psyched about starting BLC#19!!!!
Finding out about it came at just the right time. Having just completed my first 12 weeks on The Simple Diet and my first 10 weeks on Spark, I had been thinking through, "What's next for the next 12 weeks?"
I already knew staying strong with The Simple Diet for another 12 weeks was a 100% done deal, but I felt ready to take on something new as well. I started looking at the various intensive workout programs -- TurboFire, Insanity, P90x, P90lean -- when I found out I had to have surgery a week ago. Realizing that I wouldn't be able to tackle a full intensive 90-day workout in the way I really wanted to -- I began to think of a close Spark friend's advice: Monitor and Adjust. Soon after I heard about the BLC teams and thought -- this is so great for exactly where I am and where I'm hoping to be!
So, today is Day One, Week One and I'm curious to know what all the challenges entail.
And, yesterday at my one-week follow up, my surgeon gave me total clearance for cardio!!!! I can do very light weights and then begin in earnest in 6 weeks -- both are much, much sooner than I thought would be possible. I am so grateful!
Here are my basic goals for BLC#19 and the next 12 weeks-- working on coming up with a simple week-by-week plan, too.
Weight Loss Goal -- Lose 15lbs. officially -- shooting for 24.
1. The Simple Diet -- Keep on Keepin' On with Phase 1. (Also, Re-read TSD)
2 Rangers -- participate with the team for goals and challenges
3. 5x/week Cardio and 3x/week for Light weights
3. Striiv -- clock in 7700 steps/day minimum
4. Posture, Balance, Breathing, Prayer -- Find 2 daily exercises for each component and practice daily
5. Hold a Tag Sale

P.S. Down another 2lbs -- 28.6lbs so far
