Someone Do My Laundry!

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Just throw that heap of washed clothes in the dryer, and make sure the towels go in so we can have clean towels to dry off with....let alone clean clothes to wear tomorrow.

(giving the stink eye to the washed clothes waiting to go into the dryer)

I do my daughter's laundry, since I'm over there taking care of the kids anyway. When I go on vacation she's on her own. I come back and there are PILES of it. Socks have been accumulating in a basket for a month or more.
Need a pair? Just go dig.

I had it down to a science also. A safety pin in a pair of socks makes them
easy to match up again. She'd rather fold them while watching TV. Evidently not much of that going on.

I'm ALWAYS glad when the laundry is done.

I'll trade you laundry for dishes. Laundry is at least only twice a week or one big day, dishes, on the other hand, are daily.

Laundry is my least favorite thing to do in the whole wide world! Judy, it sounds like you have it down to a science! I don't have a washer and dryer so I HAVE to go to the laundrymat and that makes it that much worse! The one up side of living with my mother was that she really loves doing laundry, she said the look and smell of fresh, clean clothes makes her feel like she has accomplished something. Think I am going to work on that attitude, with something that has to be done, I think it would be a healthy, happy way to look at it!

Laundry is the worst! I usually take ALL day. I start off with the best of intentions and put it going first thing in the morning but by the time evening rolls around I realize a load is in the dryer getting wrinkled, a load is in the washer and a load is still waiting. Ugh! I think I'd pay someone $50 just to do my measly little 3 loads of laundry. LOL

Other than dealing with the laundry, I hope you're having a good evening! emoticon
