I feel like someone's toilet paper!

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Yeah I am not surprised BUT it still hurts and or sucks. I finally got my notice that I was being laid off. Yeah the last day is June 28th! A$$4013$ Oh you are so smart I know you will find something else....blah, blah, blah, blah, blahhhhhhhhh.

If either of those two women trully felt that way then at two months short of my 2 years in the Assessor's office and 8 years for the county as a whole they wouldn't have reduced my PHUCKING hours so that I lose my 4 week severance, and any opportunity to bump the family.

Yeah I wanted to call them out on it, but then at the end of the meeting today I just said I was going to keep my mouth shut. I wanted so bad to tell them off, let them know I know 8 people in management if they got rid of the budget problems would be solved.............errrr.

I even wanted to stuff myself stupid afterwards but I have worked so hard these 2.5 weeks I am not going to let them take that from me too. At least not yet, not until I go back into that closet I just opened the door to. Bought myself a 305 Garmin Forerunner today can't wait for it. Got my training for Portland Half Marathon t-shirt today......

I am so sorry to hear about your lay-off. Not going to sugarcoat it. That stinks!

I am glad though that you didn't give into food and you continue to train for your marathon. Hopefully taking care of yourself will help you as you go through this tough time.
