    Sounds like you're doing great! I've hesitated to take on a longer race (i.e., marathon) because the training schedule has the same impact as a part-time job on top of everything I already do. I love reading about your journey. Thank you for sharing it. I'm cheering you on! emoticon

    Thank you! I am glad that you're recapping your weeks too - I definitely want to see what other triathletes are doing to get ready for their races! We'll see how this week goes :)

    WOW - you did A LOT last week in your training! I wouldn't worry about what other believe/think, as long as this is something that you want to do than go for it! I hear ya on trying to find the balance of it, my first year I definitely let training consume me and everything seemed to revolve around my workouts. Now I have finally found a way to do it and work the schedule around my fam so that it is less disruptive. You'll find the balance!
