A windy Monday

Monday, April 23, 2012

Very windy today! I'm not a fan of the wind, especially during pollen season. But I was able to get my grocery shopping done and get back home before it got too windy. Despite the wind it's a beautiful day, sunny out.

I should have used the electric cart when I shopped today, but I thought I could get the few things I needed faster using a regular shopping cart. I always forget I'll pay for it later; I was really hurting by the time I got home. Had to take a pain pill, and dealt with some nausea again from it, but feeling better now. Even managed to do my Sit and Be Fit workout today.

My mom has her doctor appointment later today, I'm anxious to find out what the doctor says and if her lab work shows any improvement.

I know how you feel. A couple times lately I thought I could quickly get what I needed with a regular cart but once I get to the back of the store it's the wrong time to realize it wasn't the right choice.

Good to know you're not getting any snow there (I was hearing the snowstorm might reach all the way to MI). That would be a bit annoying I'm sure!

Some of us just like to keep on pushing ourselves. I like to think of it as courage. emoticon

It was really windy here today, too. The weather has been so strange this year. After a very mild winter, today it was cold, windy and rainy.

I hope all goes well for both you and your mom.
