The Simple Diet Journal #20 -- Riding the Wave!

This past week has gone remarkably well. I have had virtually no pain post surgery -- incredible! I have to hold myself back from overdoing it, because I feel fantastic.
This week will officially mark my 12th week on The Simple Diet. To say that I am so grateful and filled with joy for this plan and for the TSD team here on Spark -- I don't know that I can truly capture my gratefulness through words. It has been an incredible moment.
Yesterday afternoon, I was thinking how some seasons in life appear and we can either embrace them fully and receive them as the wonderful gifts they are -- or we can be hesitant, unsure, or even oblivious sometimes. This season -- I am fully awake and feel so much joy and awe. And, I know there's so much more to learn and experience.
For me, it's a full body, mind, and spirit experience --and one for which I think I've been getting ready for, just trying to figure out how to catch a wave. Then 12 weeks ago, it's definitely become a Ride-the-Wave experience!
I have so much energy and feel so great. I've been really eager to do a very intensive 12-week or 90-day workout -- and while waiting to see what my surgeon says re: when I can start anything intensive -- I came upon the Biggest Loser Challenge here on Spark.
BLC#19 starts on Wednesday and I'm so pumped. It runs for 12 weeks and the funny thing is -- if I hadn't had the surgery, I probably wouldn't have known about the challenge because I had more time in the past week to browse around Spark than I usually do. I'm going to be on the Rockin' Rose Rangers -- so if any of you dear Simple Diet Team friends (or Hula Hoop/Tall Ladies/All spark friends :-) want to join too -- let me know and I'll send the link. Not sure how many spaces they have for #19 left -- but they also have a mailing list for #20 that'll start after this one. I'm still trying to figure it all out -- but I am psyched!
