8 days ago I suffered a setback. I injured my back and ribs while performing the spring opening of my hot tub and then came down with a nasty cold and lost my voice for 3 days. The only thing missing was a plague of

As a result, I have been unable to exercise and struggling to keep my eating in check. As of today, my back and rib pain has been greatly reduced and my cold symptoms are down to a cough ( mostly at night).

I will start back walking tomorrow with 1 mile and hopefully be back at my usual 4 miles per day within 7 days.

It's a good thing i've made a lifestyle change instead of just track record in restarting diets after a setback like this wasn't so good..but since I started spark 16 months ago, I have been able to resume healthy eating and exercise 3 other times after illness/injury setbacks.

As my my spark friend Dave says " we're in it for the finish "

    Get right back into your groove as soon as you can without further injuring yourself. It is just too easy to lose your way on this journey. I love your attitude!

    Glad you are feeling better. Being hurt and having a cold to boot must not have been any fun. Take it easy as you get back on track.
