Who knew

Saturday, April 21, 2012

It's Saturday and I am blessed in so many ways.

Yesterday I ran into an old friend who's 26 year son was killed on a scooter. No words can express the feelings of a child dieing . Some how saying I'm sorry for your loss is just not enough. So please remember Jacob in your prayers, I did not know him well and had not seen him since he was a young boy about 8 but I have not been able to get his mother and father out of my mind, we worked together for many years . I don't know what else i can say or do so I thought we all need prayers so I'm turning to my spark friends. Thanks

I took a tumble last night in the garage, there was water on the floor I did not see and boom down I went, pretty hard, Leah came running to my aid first, nice big lick across my face looking at me like "what are you doing down there" then Gary ran in hearing the noise of my head hitting the concert. It shook me up but I was not really injured, head hurts a bit .... Gary said your going to be good and sore in the morning but much to my surprise I am not sore have a small bruise on my right thigh but that's it....I really am a tough old's it funny how I can have a bruise and not know where it come from but a hard fall and no marks...go figure..I do think I am not sore because I'm in pretty good shape for the shape I'm I need to watch my step, I do tend to fly around when I'm on a mission to get something done.
Well thanks for listening to me and my issues

Have a healthy and happy week end

So sorry to hear of Jacob's loss; losing a child is always tough and his parents will be in my prayers.

Glad you weren't hurt badly in that fall, Kitt! Take care and mind that melon (your head).

As for your status comment of being frustrated with the scale; you've been around the block a few times for the last 6 years now and you know how the game is played. Do NOT let the scale drive you crazy. It is ONE tool. Look at the big picture and keep the scale in perspective. It is a number. Period. Don't let it drive you insane, sweetie. Big hugs to ya!

While I was reading your blog and about your tumble, my thoughts were that you survived without much injury because you are physically fit! Yay - the hard work pays off!
