5K Training, Day Off

No running today. But that's ok. I feel like I could do it, but know that I need to work up to any sort of distance. I have to build endurance and let my muscles get used to the idea that I'm doing something new.

Today, I've been amazed at how one little accomplishment from yesterday has fueled my desire to go on. And how something as simple as starting the training program has given me so much hope and determination and drive. I'm glad for it! I hope I can hold on to this sense of newness and eagerness through my race day because it sure feels good to think about something and know that I can make the first step to accomplishing my goal!
