Given into my plateau . . .

Thursday, April 19, 2012

I have been the same weight since the middle of Feb. I change my exercise to a new thing about once a month, and exercise most days of the week, I'm eating healthily, sleep . . . well that could do with some work, stress levels . . . . . well they're a bit on the high side, hormone levels are all over the place but I'm working on that, and I thought I'd mostly been doing what I ought. HOWEVER, I don't appear to be getting any smaller over the past couple of months.

SO, I decided to change my eating entirely and asked Jenny Craig for her help. The scales at their premises weighed me 2kg heavier than mine do, which was upsetting from the start, but it is a new beginning. I'm not completely in love with the idea of pre made food, but it is only an interim measure to try and figured out if my idea of portion size is completely screwy! And I really felt I needed a change of some sort. So this is the change I have decided to go with, and hopefully it's the jumpstart I need!

So we'll see how I go!

you're eating healthy, but are you eating ENOUGH? I personally don't believe in Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig (yes, they work in the short term, but people usually rebound and it costs so much)...when you can eat the way you need to all on your own. When you're working out especially, you need to be eating 5-6 times a day, every 2-3 hours or so. And you need a LOT of calories (good calories), to achieve your goals. Every time my coach tells someone who is stuck to increase their calorie intake by a few hundred a day at least...they almost immediately drop weight.

    Something to think about.
