I've been so energetic lately. I've been kickin' @$$ at Zumba & giving it my all on strength days. My weight is creeping up & I haven't been tracking food. It's just so time consuming. I'm sure I'm eating too much but you'd think that the exercise would counter that. I'm not eating THAT bad!

I've tried a few different strength routines. One was from a magazine. Lots of plank work ~ hurt my shoulder ~ took a break. Eh, I need something FUN to keep me interested but challenging enough to evoke a change without being damaging in the meantime. Tuesday I threw in Jillian's 30 Day Shred. She kills my shoulder so we'll see.

I have a friend who started an at home business doing "wraps" that *tighten, tone & firm*. They can't claim to make you lose inches. Anyhow, out of sheer frustration with my mama gut/saggy skin/wtf belly, I broke down & had her wrap me 3 days ago. She takes 3 measurements: your natural waist, at your belly button & about 3 inches below the belly button. Over a 72 hour period (the amount of time the product "claims to be active", I lost 5 1/2 inches between all 3 of the measurements. I took before & after pictures and can't really see a difference but I can feel a difference. My jello isn't quite as jello-y. ?? Dunno how else to describe it. I didn't notice any side effects, my weight is unchanged ~ it claims to *detoxify*. I don't know how or why it works but there is a definite difference. So that's pretty freaking cool. I haven't decided if I will do it again. It's a little pricey.

I am a little concerned about my BP. I did some research on low blood pressure & found that regular exercisers have lower BP & not to worry unless it goes below 100 over 60 or you have dizziness issues. I haven't been dizzy but I haven't felt quite right lately and my hands are always ice cold. I've increased my salt intake & started taking my BP more regularly & writing it down. I'm not sure what to make of this or if I should see a doctor:
4-14-12 105 over 58
4-17-12 103 over 70
4-18-12 99 over 67
Yeah, probably wouldn't hurt to see a doctor. *sigh* I hate doctors!! YUCK!

The only other thing on my mind is the possibility of watching a newborn once a week for about 5 hours. I kinda want to & I kinda don't want to be tied down. I get to meet the little booger tonight & I'm so excited about it! Anyhow, gotta get some work done. Hope all my SparkFriends have an awesome & amazing day!

You wear the wrap for 45 minutes & drink tons of water to flush out the toxins.

I talked to my chiropractor about my BP & we are both in agreement so I made a doctor appointment on May 4 with a medical doctor who believes in alternative medicine. I've suspected a thyroid problem for a few years now & hypothyroidism is one of the things I found online that can cause low blood pressure. I guess it's time I find out what's going on with my body.

Way to go on getting the exercise in!! Awesome! Tracking the food definitely helps, I was slacking for a couple weeks, but got back to it this week. So how long did you have to wear the "wrap"? I think I would definitely see a Dr. about the BP, just to give you peace of mind. Have a great Friday! emoticon
