Okay, Body, Let's Try This

There's so much information, some of it conflicting. What to eat, what not to eat, how much. What do drink, what not to drink, how much.

And I don't seem to be doing any of it right.

So, body, let's try this: Eat less, move more.

Eat what you want--nothing is off limits, so you don't have to eat it ALL now. Have a little today; you can have a little more tomorrow.

And keep moving. At least we're doing that part right.

    It can be tough. But I agree with you...nothing should be off limits! It's all about moderation. It really boils down to calories in need to be LESS than calories out, at the end of the day. And about moderation... for me, if I took away all the foods I loved that were not good for me, it would take away some of the fun in life. And if its not fun, it (my eating plan) will be harder to stick to. I think you got the basics. You can do it!

    I understand completely. I am working hard trying to figure out what works for me. I think it is a balance of exercise and eating less processed foods like wheat and sugar.

    But . . . the jury is out until the weight starts coming off.
