My New Book

I started out as a WAHM (work at home mom) way back in the late 90s. Once the kids were grown and out of the house, WAHM no longer was a fitting title. I was still the same person doing the same things, only now I was just another freelancer. LOL It's been a wonderful, wild ride and I learned a lot along the way. I actually started out as a fiction writer (romance and women's fiction mostly), but soon worked my way into the open waters of freelance writing for marketing and advertising. That was a great boost to my income, but I was out of the loop in publishing, although I do still get a few dollars in royalties even now from novels published at the turn of the century (boy does that sentence make me feel OLD, lol). Finally, I decided to swim in the sharky publishing waters again, but this time went non-fiction. My first non-fiction book is available today on Kindle and should appear on Amazon in print as well sometime today or tomorrow. It's meant to help others who want to work from home learn the basics and understand what it takes to develop a successful at home business.
